Backlink Analyzer Tool Goes Live
Hey everyone! We’ve recently redone the website and added this blog to the mix of sections that have gone live
. Our next great achievement has been launched which is our Backlink Analyzer. Our programmer Kevin Hinton has been working hard on making this tool work without the need of a browser plugin. After a few weeks he managed to get it all layed out and is now ready for public use.
Now I’m asking everyone to use this tool as much as possible and try and break it, critique it and hopefully you’ll blog about it. We’re wanting to get as much input from other users because we will be improving based on your suggestions. The tool currently runs via Java and has been successfully tested on Linux(Ubuntu), Macosx, XP and Vista.
To get started just select the Inlinks bar and input the domain you want to scan the backlinks of. You will automatically have results brought up if the domain has been scanned recently, or it will prompt you to run the tool. You have two choices here, quick run or full run. Quick fun will scan the entire set of backlinks but only report back the unique links, and not any links it finds sitewide. Full run will report all this information including links found sitewide, just like Yahoo’s Site Explorer.
The Backlink Analyzer is in Beta 1.0 and will soon be fixed to sort by Alexa or Google PageRank, so bare with us while we get this feature in. We will be providing reports via .csv for signed up users, as well keeping historical reports for your website. Within the next month we’ll be working hard on bringing out the Pro Version which will include a hanful of amazing features for a VERY reaonable price.
